After a lot of planning, rebuilding and quiet tinkering behind the scenes, the new Reality Recap website is now live, giving Australian reality TV fans a faster, cleaner and more flexible place to follow the latest news, ratings, recaps and more.
The site may look very different, but the idea behind it is the same one Reality Recap started with: Australian reality television deserves a dedicated space of its own.
Looking Back At The Original Reality Recap
The first version of Reality Recap began in 2025, built around a simple goal: to bring Australian reality TV coverage together in one place.
At the time, the site was focused on the basics that still matter today. There were sections for news, ratings, recaps and gossip, along with show pages for some of the biggest reality titles across Channel 7, Channel 9 and Channel 10.
It was a starting point, but an important one. The original website helped shape what Reality Recap could become. It proved there was room for a site that treated Australian reality TV as its own beat, not just as a small corner of broader entertainment coverage.
From Married At First Sight ratings updates to Australian Survivor news, episode recaps, casting stories and the little moments fans wanted to talk about, the old site became the foundation for everything that comes next.
Why The Site Needed A Rebuild
As Reality Recap grew, it became clear the website needed to grow with it.
The original version did the job, but it was built for a smaller version of the site. As more shows were added, more article types were published, and more regular coverage became possible, the old setup started to feel limiting.
The new website has been built to make Reality Recap easier to read, easier to update and easier to expand. Articles now sit inside a cleaner layout, show pages have more room to develop, and the overall experience is designed to feel more like a dedicated Australian reality TV hub.
What's New
The new Reality Recap puts the latest stories front and centre, with clearer sections for news, ratings, recaps, gossip and site updates.
It also gives each major show more room to stand on its own. Show pages can now better support key information, article collections, images, ratings history and future additions as coverage expands.

What Comes Next
This launch is not the finish line. It is the start of the next version of Reality Recap.
The new website gives us much more room to build. Over time, there is potential for richer show guides, improved ratings archives, more detailed contestant and season pages, community features and other tools that make it easier to follow Australian reality TV in one place.
